  • As part of normal asset replacement/refurbishment, can reposition components up-market.

  • Costs can be minimized by planning and executing over several years as a move-out program, followed by occupied unit service for those units not done to date.

  • Set goals and budgets on a per-building basis. Goals, budgets and milestones then available for reference when approving at the unit level.

  • The authorizing agent can see if he’s over or under budget milestones and make individual room-level decisions based on those budget figures.

  • For more accurate pre-planning, can also be done in conjunction with a room audit. (see Room Condition Audits)
